We saw it on the road from Ardino to Kardzhali, after our car was already out of steep turns of the serpentine mountain roads. It appeared to the right of us, among the bare branches of the trees. At first we paid no attention to him... it was a warm autumn late afternoon hours. The sun had just disappeared, and the rocky outlines of the mountains darkened, but above them the sky was still pink and clean, without a single cloud...

And here we are all almost in one voice cried out: "Flying saucer!" We were accompanied by photographer Konstantin Tanchev. He demanded that we stopped at an open spot, jumped out of the car and began to click the shutter of the camera.

We had the opportunity to examine the strange heavenly body. It hung motionless in the sky, low above the horizon, quite far from us somewhere in the South-East, towards the cities of the Jebel or Momchilgrad. It was gray-white, according to their size was much bigger than the full moon. The ring that was wrapped around his middle, made him look like the planet Saturn, which we saw in the illustrations of books on astronomy...

Was it really a flying saucer? Or the cloud?..

When we went on our way to Karima, it still hung in the Rhodope already darkening sky. We saw him for another 10-15 minutes until the darkness swallowed him completely... and yet this phenomenon has remained imprinted on pictures. And in the lines of the poem:
