About a week after saw a large metallic sphere hovering above a highway, Tad Jones at the same time was driving on the same road when I came across a man standing by the road, roughly in the same place where hung the field.
Thinking it was a hitchhiker tad slowed down and called to him. The man did not reply and just waved to him. He described the man as very tanned, dressed in a blue coat and blue cap with visor. He was holding a box in his hand. Looks like it was some instrument with a dial on it (like a clock) and from him to the other arm stretched wire.
A later check with the local gas companies was negative, as he was not their man. Also, no such instrument described by Jones, never been used.
The next day he again saw the same man, but went on.
