Around 16:00, Thursday, 2 February, two boys, Seth Morrell and Tommy Politzer of Stanford (California), claim to have seen and photographed starne object near his home.

They came home from school, was playing outside when she saw him approaching the object from the northeast. Seth walked into his house and got the camera, and when he returned, he made three pictures, and then the object disappeared from view behind the trees. Came the other guys, they photographed each other, and he departed.

Soon the object appeared again in the field of view from the North-East, moving quickly in a South-westerly direction. The guys had to take another shot (his last) before he left.

Two boys described the object as round, silvery and with a "hole in the middle, like a donut, and Windows around the edge." They also noted two bright lights that were blinking. Both thought that the object was at least as big as "four-jet".

Trying to describe the noise produced by the object, they used words such as buzzing, whining, etc.

Mrs. Politzer interviewed both boys, who are convinced that they really saw and photographed the object.

Color negatives were received in the headquarters APRO, where they were studied.

Mrs. Politzer learned of the photos through some time after they were made, and remembers that her son Tommy had mentioned that he had seen a UFO, but she didn't pay attention to it, as it was concerned at the time.

Despite the good attribution and the origin of the boys, it was observed that the object in the photo is strongly reminiscent of an ordinary car tire from the wheel.

Original news

Boys Snap Photos Neor Stanford University At about 4 P.M., on Thursday, February 2, two boys, Seth Morrell and Tommy Politzer of Stanford, California, claim they saw and photographed an object near their home. They had arrived home from school, were playing outside when they saw the object approaching them from the northeast. Seth went inside his home and got a camera, and when he came back he took three photos after which the object moved away out of sight beyond some trees. A friend oI the boys came along, they took photos of each other and the friend went on his way. Shortly the object came into view again, from the northeast, moving rapidly in a southwesterly direction. The boys had time to take just one other photo (their last) before it left. The two boys described the object as round, silvery and with “a hole in the middle, sort of like a doughnut, and windows all around the edge.” They also noted two bright lights which blinked on and off several times. Both thought the object was at least as big as “a four engine jet.”

In attempting to describe the noise made by the object, they used words such as humming, whirring, buzzing, whining, etc. Both boys were questioned by Mrs. Politzer, who is convinced that they actually saw and photographed the object, three exposures of which are presented on this page. The color negatives were received at APRO Headquarters, where they are being studied. Mrs. Politzer learned about the photos some time after they were taken, and recalls that her son Tommy had mentioned seeing a UFO, but she had paid little attention to it, as she was preoccupied at the time. – Despite the good attribution and background of the boys, it has been pointed out that the object in the photograph strongly resembles an ordinary automobile wheel cover. See photos on this page.

Deliberate falsification

This version includes any falsifications that imitate unexplained phenomena both from the outside: practical jokes, flash mobs, fake news, witness fraud, staging, etc.

There are many ways to make something similar to a ghost or a flying saucer from improvised materials, without using video and photomontage.

Many homemade things made for the sake of a joke, a practical joke or a direct imitation of a mystical being or event can be taken as unexplained not only in photos and videos, but also in reality.
