State police Hollas Chastain was checking his rural mailbox immediately after patrolling, when he noticed on the Western part of the sky is unusual and very bright object. It had an elliptical shape, about the size of a penny at arm's length, and he glowed.

Chastain, after seeing a few minutes on the radio soldiers, James Blevins. Then the object stopped moving and hovered for a while, and then accelerated sharply, changing the color from white to orange and then to greenish-blue back and white. During the observation it is sometimes pulsed.
