10:00 p.m. EST. An airplane mechanic saw a glowing orange object estimated to be moving about 100 mph at 1,500 feet altitude. The object moved quickly toward the ground, disappeared, then later reappeared and flew south. The Federal Aviation Administration Test Center at Atlantic City reported tracking an unknown on radar at the same time and place for two minutes. (U.F.O.
