I was 13 years old, and my dad and I that night, I hung Christmas lights around 7pm. When I handed him a chain of lights to hang on the gutter of the house, a bright fast moving light coming from the East to the West, got into my field of vision.
I was able to focus my vision on it about 90 degrees overhead and watched it silently drifts to the West at low altitude, very high speed. He "cut" his flight from side to side when he accelerated to the West, as it was gone, jerked from the place for 2 seconds after the initial observation.
That night the clouds were very low. The object probably was within 500 ft (152 m) from the ground. I asked my dad if he saw it, to which he replied "no."
I never officially reported this observation to any Agency to this day.
During my life I worked in the public service in many degrees, earning a degree in law enforcement in 1974, working as an auxiliary police officer in two institutions during the 80-ies and graduated from the State fire Academy and served as a part-time firefighter and EMT most part the 90s.
