Around 8:30 p.m. Three witnesses saw a very bright round, slightly oval object “bright as a car headlight” hover overhead in the clear sky for about 30 seconds. The object then began moving away slowly toward the east, suddenly accelerated, stopped abruptly and hovered again for about 15 seconds.
