A 16-year-old member of the "dirty team" of the Apple orchard saw the light in a wooded area. He stopped his car and was startled to see 3 small creatures emerge from the forest at a distance of about 600 feet (180.8 m) and approach him.
They were 4 feet tall (1.4 m) or less, they looked like people, but with bald heads and shiny orange clothes. When he turned off the car horn, 2 similar objects appeared on the other side of the road.
They were within 25 feet (7.2 m) of the car when they turned and walked back. When another team member who heard the horn arrived moments later, he found the witness almost fainting.
The next day, an imprint of a"paddle-like" foot measuring 6-8 inches (15.2 cm) with a narrow heel was found in place. For 8 days, crew members reported seeing special lights in the area.

They had got to within 25 ft of the car when they turned and walked back. When another crew member that had heard the horn arrived moments later, he found the witness almost in a faint. The next day 6 8” imprints of a “paddle shaped” foot, with a narrow heel, were found at the site. For a period of 8 days, crewmembers had reported seeing peculiar lights in the area.
