An eyewitness from the town of Arnhem writes:
Together with my son in the garden watched the stars, which we regularly do in the summer. We tracked a number of observed satellites, planes and 7 "falling stars."
At one point we jumped up and said to each other, "Wow, what is this then" ??? Do you see "his?" dark disk or point that gave no light, but was on a shade lighter than the night sky. (The moon was still low in the area of our observation and was still painted light orange, but shone at a distance in the opposite direction than we saw the object in the dark).
We could follow the object for about 4-5 seconds! Four to five times faster than the speed of a satellite.
He didn't make a sound. The altitude is probably in the atmosphere/stratosphere, but it is difficult to measure.
After that we looked critically to explain what we saw.
The sight of birds flying high was impossible because the object was flying too high.
The plane was impossible, otherwise we could hear the sound barrier, or see the lights, or if not, though the fast.2
My son and I didn't use drugs or alcohol.
My son is a student of 20 years.
I used to serve in the Air Force myself. Age 47.
We're both sober, and we don't know if there's an alien life. But when we saw it last night, we start to doubt it.

ARNHEM, GD — Samen met mijn zoon in de tuin sterren kijken wat wij regelmatig doen in de zomer. We volgden een aantal satellieten, vliegtuigen en 7 “vallende sterren” waargenomen.
Op een gegeven moment sprongen we in de lucht en zeiden tegen elkaar “whooow wat is dit dan”??? Zie je “hem”???Een donkere schijf of punt wat geen licht gaf maar wel een tint lichter was dan de lucht van de nacht. (De maan stond rond onze waarneming nog laag en kleurde nog licht oranje maar scheen in de verte in tegengestelde richting dan dat wij het object zagen in het donker)
We konden het object circa 4 á 5 seconden volgen! 4 á 5 x sneller dan de snelheid van een satelliet.
Het gaf geen geluid. Hoogte waarschijnlijk in de atmosfeer/stratosfeer maar moeilijk te peilen.
We zijn kritisch gaan bekijken naderhand om een verklaring te geven wat we zagen.
Een vogelsoort wat hoog vloog was onmogelijk omdat het object te hoog vloog.
Een vliegtuig was onmogelijk anders hadden we de geluidsbarrière kunnen horen, of verlichting kunnen zien zo niet danwel de afterburners.
Mijn zoon en ik hebben geen drugs of alcohol gebruikt.

Ikzelf heb vroeger bij de luchtmacht gezeten.
Leeftijd 47 jaar
We zijn beiden nuchter en weten niet of er buitenaardse leven bestaat.
Maar nadat we dit vannacht hebben waargenomen beginnen we het wel te twijfelen.
