A Perth motorist and his wife have told how two unidentified flying objects attacked their car as they drove along the South West highway.
Jeff Richards, 28, and his wife Toni, 26, from the Perth suburb of woodlands, said the 10-minute attack took place around 4:45 a.m. on a long straight stretch of highway leading from Brunswick junction, about 100 miles South of Perth.
Richards said he noticed a light in the rearview mirror shortly after driving through Brunswick.
"Suddenly there was a flash of light," he said. "It looked like it was going about 500 miles an hour. My wife screamed that he would hit us. Then it just stopped.
The light stayed behind for a few seconds, then shot back to the horizon behind the car.
This happened about four times, then I looked ahead and saw another light. He moved toward us at head height, while the one behind us moved forward again. The one in front attacked us three times and each time stopped abruptly and rushed back, sometimes disappearing."
