The witness was driving home after finishing shift work at a local hospital.
After picking up her mother, she took her usual route along secondary roads with very few houses, only open fields and a beautiful view of the night sky.
On the way, she noticed right in front of her, very high in the sky, a multi-colored glowing object. It flashed blue, red, green, and bright white. Her mother, sitting in the front passenger seat, also noticed the object. They both thought it was a plane, but then it suddenly fell out of the sky right in front of them.
The witness suddenly stopped the car, and both watched in horror at the object, which they thought was about to collapse. Then, as they watched the object suddenly stop, it hovered over two trees directly in front of them on the right side of the road.
In less than 30 seconds, he was no more than 100 feet (30.4 m) away from the witnesses. The colored lights seemed to explode back into the object itself, and now only bright white lights flashed. It made a very soft, low humming sound as it hovered above the trees.
The witness's hands were shaking as she gripped the steering wheel.
The object was absolutely huge, had the shape of a saucer with a kind of dome. Around the entire dome, they could both clearly see a panel of Windows.
The "creatures" were looking at the witnesses. They were not human in appearance. She counted 5, her mother until her death (five years ago), swore that she counted 6.
From their point of view, they could see large oval-shaped eyes with huge bug-like heads attached to what looked like very thin necks with long, thin arms. They both thought they were gray.
The object hovered in front of them, and they froze, watching it for about 5 or 6 minutes, and then suddenly, from somewhere under the object's belly, a bright blue white beam of light shot out at them, illuminating the inside of the object.
The light was so bright, so bright, that their eyes hurt, and they both had to close their eyes. This beam kept the machine running for a minute or two, and then, as it seemed, suddenly flew back into the machine. Now they both watched as the object began to move very slowly, again with no sound other than a low hum. He was moving over the car.
The witness then started driving, aiming to exit onto the main thoroughfare. As she was driving towards the highway, the object flew a little ahead of her car.

The witness abruptly stopped the car and the both watched in horror as they thought it was about to crash. Then as they watched the object abruptly stopped, just like on a dime, it hovered above two trees directly in front of them, on the right side of the road. In less than 30 seconds it was now not more than 100 ft from the witnesses. The colored lights appeared to implode back into the object itself and now just brilliant white lights flashed. It made a very soft, quiet humming sound as it hovered just above the trees. The witness’s hands were shaking as she clenched the steering wheel. The light was so bright, so brilliant, that it hurt their eyes and they both had to cover their eyes. This beam kept the car lit up for a minute or two then just as it had appeared it suddenly imploded back into the craft. They both now looked as the object started a very slow movement, again with no sound other than the quiet humming. It moved above the car. The witness then began to drive, anxious to get onto the main highway. As she drove toward the highway the object flew just a slight distance ahead of her car. As they got home they both could still hear, faintly, in the distance the humming as the craft continued on.
