Peter Reich, an aerospace writer for CHICAGO TODAY, saw a UFO and wrote a 4-column article.
The object, which looks like a collision avoidance beacon (red), had an incredibly high speed over lake Michigan.
At about 1/2 mile and 600 mph, the object suddenly stopped, changed course abruptly, and appeared to be flying in a downward curve in the opposite direction.
