The unidentified "cart" was detected on radar at West palm beach international airport by FAA air traffic controller CJ Fox.

Fox described the contact as "a good clear goal." The object was tracked for more than an hour when the NORAD alarm was triggered at approximately 6: 00. Two F-106 fighter jets were dispatched from HOMESTEAD air force base, South of Miami, to locate and identify the unknown object.

The object disappeared from the radar sights shortly before the arrival of the jets.

There were visual reports from West palm beach international airport by FAA supervisor George Morales. He examined the object with binoculars and described the object as silvery-white in color and shaped like a cigar.

Officials at Miami international airport, who also tracked the strange object, reported that there were no planes in the area where the UFO was found.
