Initial data
Day after day, week after week, numerous residents claim to have seen "a huge bright white light" slowly moving over their settlement.
More than 250 people have reportedly seen the object since it was first discovered in February. Many residents watched the UFO hovering soundlessly near a tree at treetop level for several minutes before disappearing.
Many claimed the property is huge, estimated to be from "bigger than a car" to 1/2 the size of a house.
A number of cases, according to local reports, occurred near the nearby United Nuclear Corp plant. (manages the plant for the disposal of waste). Witnesses to these sightings report seeing what appeared to be a military aircraft searching or patrolling the area after UFO sightings.
Thomas Gariepi, a reporter for the Providence Evening Bulletin, is among the residents who have seen UFOs in recent months.
