Jorge Roberto Herrera, an engineering student, saw an object in the shape of two folded plates descend in the form of falling leaves until it reached a yard off the ground, and then settle, leaning, next to the highway.
It was painted aluminum until it landed, then turned to a dull copper color. It was about 16 feet (4.8 m) wide.
After 3 minutes, the legs came out, which leveled the UFO.
Herrera then saw a 5-foot-2-inch (157.4 cm) creature next to him, wearing a white "diving suit" with an opaque helmet. The arms were short and had no hands. Feet in a suit, no shoes.
This creature did not appear from a UFO. He swam a few feet without walking, then disappeared.
After a few seconds, the UFO removed its legs, returned to an inclined position and took off. At the time, Herrera was 50 feet (15.2 m) away. He took one step and found himself at the touchdown mark, having unconsciously moved 50 feet.
There were seven unsymmetrically arranged prints in an area of only about 5 square feet (1.5 m). A small truck pulled up, the driver of which said that he had seen a UFO and that it had caused his engine and radio to fail.
This man took Herrera, who was now feeling ill, to Salta. There he was admitted to the clinic, where he was treated for 8 days, without knowing the diagnosis.

Then Herrera saw beside it a being 5’2″ tall, dressed in a white “diving suit” with opaque helmet; the arms were cut off short, without any hands. The feet covered by the suit, without footwear. This entity was not seen to emerge from the UFO. It glided a few feet without walking, then disappeared. A few seconds later the UFO retracted its legs, returned to an inclined position, and took off. Herrera was 50 ft from it at the time. He took one step and found he was at the landing marks, having moved 50 ft unconsciously. There were seven un-symmetrically arranged imprints in an area only about 5 ft square. A small truck came up, whose driver said that he had seen the UFO and that it had caused his engine and his radio to fail. This man drove Herrera, who now felt ill, to Salta; he entered a clinic, where he was treated for 8 days without ever being told the diagnosis.
