More than a dozen residents of the Ferndale subdivision told state police that they saw a UFO with "flashing lights" land on Burnside mountain.
One witness, a 13-year-old boy, said he watched the object through binoculars and saw "a big bubble on it, and I saw silver along with the lights."
Several adults who reported sightings said the object hovered over the mountain for several moments before apparently landing.
UFO watchers said they saw the object take off around 23: 00 and head West.
