Initial data
Shortly after midnight, the couple saw bright lights on their property. Later in the morning, they noticed a dome that looked like a "tent" about a third of a mile away. A second smaller object emerged from it and moved along the ground about 200 feet (60.9 m) away.
Five figures of small stature, dressed in bright yellow garments and helmets, moved quickly between the two objects for an unknown period of time.
The next time the witnesses looked, everything was gone. Ground tracks of various descriptions were found at the site.

Shortly after midnight a married couple saw bright lights on their property; later in the morning, they observed a dome like “tent” about a third of a mile away; a second, smaller object emerged from it and moved across the ground to a distance of about 200 feet. Five figures of small stature, wearing bright yellow garments and helmets, moved quickly back and forth between the two objects for an undisclosed period of time. When the witnesses next looked, all had vanished. Ground traces of various descriptions were found at the sight.
