A man walking home from work noticed an object he described as a flying saucer near a gravel pit in this New England city.
He saw a light in the air, and as he approached it, the light grew brighter and larger.
He described the object as a red dome at the top with another dome below it in a shape similar to a children's pool. The lower dome was bordered by white lights that reflected off the upper dome. The third dome was lower than the first two and appeared to have two ports at the back that emitted orange and white smoke as it disappeared into the night.

The lower dome was edged with white lights which reflected onto the upper dome. A third dome was below the first two and appeared to have two ports at the rear which gave off orange and white smoke as it disappeared into the night.
