Initial data
It is reported that an unidentified flying object landed on Fifth street and Jackson street. The witness immediately called the local newspaper to report what had happened.
The newspaper decided to send a reporter to the scene of the discovery, but when the reporter came to the intersection where the object was reportedly seen, the area was completely deserted.
The newspaperman then noticed a bright object just about 5,000 feet (1,500 m) above the ground. It was blinking like a light bulb. The reporter was only able to see the UFO for about 15 seconds before it disappeared from view at an incredible speed.
