Mauro Bellingeri (26 years old) and his wife Carla was driving home to Santa Maria del Tempio when they noticed a bright object in the sky.
The object dived sharply towards the ear and stopped at an altitude of about 12 meters (40 feet). The two Bellingers got out of the car to look at the now motionless and silent object.
It was like a disk with a bright transparent dome and a rotating red ring in the center and green and yellow light.
Inside the circular dome were three humanoid creatures in large round opaque grayish helmets. The headdress was based on a hose-like device that resembles the oxygen equipment used by divers.
The creature closest to them turned in their direction, then returned to its original position. Then all three creatures spun in unison.
At this moment, three upper jets of flame appeared under the device, the Central part with lights began to rotate rapidly, and a whistling sound was heard.
Bellingeri felt a gust of air, and the UFO flew away, continuing to make a whistling sound.
