A 16-year-old boy was woken up in his basement room by a loud sound like a sonic boom.
A few minutes later, he saw a bright purple light flash outside his basement window, illuminating the interior of his room. The neighborhood dogs were leading, though the normally chirping crickets in the basement were now silent.
About 3 minutes after the purple light was visible, a bright white light the size and shape of a ball passed in front of the window, and the youngsters heard a "scratching" sound in the netting of the courtyard door, as well as a purple-white light. the light came back on in the window.
Shortly after, after hearing a "nose tapping" outside, the witness got up, looked out the window and saw a three-foot (0.9 m) tall figure standing between two trash cans with a purple light like a flashlight.
He shouted and ran upstairs, just as a "strong gust of wind" hit the house. Strange sounds woke up two girls in the house, and the next morning a dark, scorched spot with a diameter of 3 feet (0.9 m) was found on the concrete courtyard.

Neighborhood dogs were carrying on, although the usually chirruping crickets in the basement were now silent. About 3 minutes after the purple light was seen, a bright white light the size and shape of a baseball passed in front of the window, and the young heard a “scratching” sound on the screen door to the yard, and the purple and white lights again shone in the window. Shortly after, hearing a “tapping” nose outside, the witness got up and looked out the window and saw, standing between two garbage cans, a 3-foot tall figure carrying a purple light like a flashlight. He yelled and dashed upstairs, just as “an enormous gust of wind” hit the house. The strange sounds had awakened two girls in the house, and the following morning a dark scorched mark 3 feet in diameter was found on the concrete patio.
