The glowing ball, also described as a large red-hot ball, fell into the sea a few miles off the coast of the port of Genoa, Italy.
The report came from a University geophysicist who was conducting routine research and who immediately reported it to the national fire Department.

Summary: A luminous globe, described also like a large incandescent ball, was seen to fall into the sea some miles off the coast of the port of Genova, Italy. The report arrived from a geophysicist of the university that was completing normal surveys and that had immediately signaled the fact to the National Fire Departments.

Space debris
By space junk refers to all manmade objects and their fragments in space, which is already faulty, not functioning, and will never be able to serve any useful purpose.
