In 1975, a man named Jackson Wright was traveling with his wife from new Jersey to new york. This required them to travel through the Lincoln tunnel.
According to Wright, who was driving the car after driving through the tunnel, he stopped the car to wipe the condensation off the windshield. His wife, Martha, volunteered to clean the back window to make it easier for them to continue their journey. When Wright turned around, his wife was gone.
He did not hear or see anything out of the ordinary, and subsequent investigation could find no evidence of foul play. Martha Wright just disappeared.
