Three witnesses who returned from Bible study saw a large object with a double row of bright white lights (20-50 lamps in each row) moving rapidly towards them.
They stopped the car and the object hovered at treetop level 100 yards (90 m) away. Then all the pulsing bright white lights went out, and three blue, green, and red lights came on, shedding a bluish light on what they now saw was a silvery domed disk.
It was said that the object had a diameter of about 300 feet (90 m). Witnesses fled in horror after two of them appeared to fall into some sort of trance.
