I can't remember the year, but it was between 1978-1980. I served in the United States air force at Kunsan air base, South Korea.

I lived off-base in an apartment complex near a local town called Silvertown. There was no light in the one-room apartment, but when I looked, I could see clearly. I remember waking up on the floor. My wife was lying on the bed to my left and a little behind me. The direction of the doorway caught my attention.

I saw a large dark figure standing in the doorway. The figure was wearing a Cape or Cape with a hood. I think it was dark gray or black. I was sitting there looking at him when he seemed to start coming towards me. It didn't seem to be coming. It seemed to slide across the floor.

I tried to move away from him, but I couldn't move. I tried to call my wife, but I couldn't make a sound. Although my body refused to respond to my attempts to move. I remember thinking that if I could make a sound, the fear and the figure would go away. Although I remember him moving towards me, I don't remember him passing through the room where I was lying. That is, I only remember that it was moving at a distance of about 3 or 4 feet (0.9-1.2 m). I can't remember it ever reaching me.

My attempts to move or make a sound continued for several minutes. My heart was pounding in my chest, and I desperately tried to call out to my wife. Suddenly I managed to make a whisper / squeak. I tried again, and this time the noise was lighter. Finally I gave my wife's name. I was already able to move, although it was extremely difficult.

I trudged over to our bed. I reached out and when I was about to touch my wife, everything went back to normal, if you can call it that. The stranger left. So is the loss of my voice and my inability to move. However, the room was darker and harder to see.

I was still on the floor, and my wife was fast asleep on the bed. My heart started to slow down, and the pounding became a normal beat. I just sat there.

To this day, I encourage you to still remember parts of this incident with great clarity. But I'm not sure if it was a dream. I don't remember if I drank alcohol that night, but it's a very real possibility. I also don't understand why I was lying on the floor instead of the bed with my wife. I don't know if my wife remembers any of this. I don't even remember if I ever told my wife about it, but over the years I've told this story to others when the subject of strange things came up.

At the risk of going mad, other strange things have happened to me, just as clear or bright, but may not mean anything.

While at RAF Lakenheath in the United Kingdom between 1982 and 1983, I remembered leaving the store one night to cross the street to another building. When I left the store, I was in line of sight of the door I was heading for.

Suddenly, I came across a wall holding fuel for heating, about 8-10 feet (2.4-3 m) from the original path I was following. I don't know how I got my initial course, but there are scratches on my shins. Another incident at the same base and on the same time frame occurred when I left the store to take the bus home.

I left the store 10 minutes before 1am, and the bus stop should have been a minute's walk away. However, after I arrived at the stop. I looked at my watch and it said the time was 20 minutes after 1am.

There was no alcohol consumption in these two incidents because I was just leaving work.

And one morning when I was in England between 82-83, I woke up and found myself in my wardrobe (toilet). However, it might have been because of the booze, but I thought I'd mention it. At a station in Hurlburt field, Florida, between 1991 and 1992, I drove every night along a section of road that was not well traveled or lit at this time of night. In many cases, while driving, I expected to hear a loud Bang coming from the dashboard of my car.

The anticipation was so intense that my eyes were ready to close, like they do when someone is pounding something over and over, and then they suddenly stop, but your eyes are still twitching in anticipation of the next hit.

One night in late 1996 or early ' 97, while working at Gate Rubber Co in Siloam springs, Arkansas, I experienced what you would call lost time.

I worked with six belt vulcanization presses for the company. That night I was waiting for press 4 to open. I decided to go and check something on press 1 at a distance of 15-20 feet. I looked at the press 4 timer and saw that I had 1 minute and 45 seconds before the press was ready to open, so I turned to go to press 1.As soon as I turned and started making a step, press number 4 opened.

I stopped and turned again. I thought maybe I looked at the wrong timer, but none of the other timers on the device were set anywhere near the minute and 45. It was only a minute and 45 seconds, and I didn't feel like anything else was out of order, but I still remember it with great clarity.

One day after I started working at the University of Arkansas, I experienced an incident where I seemed to buy time. I checked the time when I entered highway 412 at the intersection of highway 530 (old highway 71). And the 20-minute drive to Siloam began.

When I entered the city limits, I checked the time again and found that it took me 10 minutes to get there. I checked the operation of my watch and cruise control, which I always used, and found that they were in good working order. I've never heard of anyone buying time, although I've been at times when it seemed like time passed faster than I thought.

I have a standard "Scoop" mark on my left foot that I've heard and read about. It's been there for as long as I can remember. And in 1999, I noticed that there was a mark on the top of my left hand. I don't recall anything unusual happening at that time.

*********** Additional background information.

In sixth grade, I experienced several incidents where large crusts formed in my nostrils. I remember my grandmother had to take them out with big stilettos. This lasted several weeks.

Around 1976/77, when I was working at Beale air force base in California and living in a barracks, I got up one night to go to the bathroom. As I passed my papasan chair, I saw someone sitting there, and I walked around them to go into the hall. I closed the door behind me. When I returned to my room, it was locked. I knocked on the door, but no one answered.

Finally I had to go outside and burst into the room. There was no one there, and the next day when I asked my friends if any of them were in the room, they all said no.

After reading all this, I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking I was an attention-seeking nutcase. But I swear it's all true, as far as I know.

It also convinced me that I need to keep a document with dates, times, and conditions in case anything else happens. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and as always, if you have any questions, let me know.

Visitation Experience in Korea and other events
I can’t recall the year, but it was between 1978-1980. I was in the U.S. Air Force, stationed at Kunsan Air Base, South Korea. I tried to call for my wife but couldn’t make any sound. Although my body refused to respond to my efforts to move, I can remember thinking that if I could make a sound, the fear, and the figure, would go away. While I can remember it moving toward me, I don’t remember it traveling the distance of the room to where I was laying. That is to say, I only remember it moving a distance of about 3 or 4 feet. My struggle to move or make some kind of sound seemed to go on for several minutes. My heart was pounding in my chest and I was desperately trying to call for my wife. • In a moment, the man suddenly feels on top he bore down on something very hard and does not allow him to breathe, as if strangling.
  • Quite often people say that in that moment, when they sleep, they feel that they can move neither head, nor foot, nor arm, literally nothing. Among other things, a person becomes unbearable fear.
