Initial data
Mr Marion Ritchie and his wife observed a UFO on 138 County road for a continuous 5 minutes.
Ritchie, an authority figure in his community, saw a cylindrical object over an open field about 50 feet (15 m) from the road with white, red and green lights. At first, he thought it was a water tower, but after passing under the object, he realized that it could not be.
The researcher, Charles Tucker, says Mr Ritchie described the cylinder as being 15 feet (4.5 m) long and hovering 75-100 feet (22.5-30 m) above the ground. The light suddenly became so bright that it was difficult for Mr. Ritchie to tell what the object really was. As the light grew brighter and brighter, and then the object flew away into the cold clear night.
