Severino Soares da Silva was returning home after visiting friends and was walking along the only paved street in the area when he noticed a strange glow coming from a nearby field.
Thinking it was a car, he approached the area and was surprised to see a large lightship shaped like a soccer ball with a doorway and two square Windows. The object rested on two protrusions in the form of legs.
At that moment Severino noticed two figures in Aviator suits and round helmets covering their ears. The figures were about 1.20 m high, one of the figures appeared to be bent under the object, apparently in the process of being repaired, the other figure stood guard in front of the object, watching its companion work with the object.
Severino watched the object and its inhabitants for about 20 minutes. Frightened, he decided to leave this place and, approaching his house, he heard a loud sound coming from behind him, and saw the same object, which was now flying at an altitude of about 5 meters from the ground.
The object emitted bright yellow and white lights, and then rose into the sky and disappeared in the direction of Santana do Matos.
