An eyewitness from the city of Enschede reported:
I came from the store, looked at my watch at 18: 58 and heard a noise. I looked up, and then I saw a very low-flying object, flying faster than an airplane.
There were multiple light sources, the left side was green with white light, and on the other side of the right side of the object, 5 lights were white. Fast flashing in the middle, also flashing light, someone else saw it in Enschede, which happened to be outside, I can't explain.
I just stood there and the object was moving in one direction, the line was 500 or 700 meters I don't know, but I thought it was strange. I didn't see it as a white object.

ENSCHEDE, OV — Ik kwam van de winkel en ik keek op mijn klok tegen 18:58 en ik hoorde een geluid ik keek omhoog en toen zag ik een heel laag vliegend object ging sneller dan een vliegtuig. waren meerdere lichten de linkerkant kant was een groene met wit licht en aan de andere kant van de rechtekant van het object 5 lichten wit. Knipperde snel midden ook een knipperlicht iemand anders dit ook gezien in enschede die toevallig buiten waren ik kan het niet verklaren ik stond gewoon stil het object bewoog in 1 richtingslijn was zo.n 500 of 700 meter Geen idee maar dit vond ik wel raar ik zag niet dat het een witte object was dus daarom deze melding
