At least ten people in Corona, Queens, claimed to have seen a bell-shaped UFO with flashing multicolored lights beeping on Saturday evening, September 5, at 22:00.

As the UFO hovered over an apartment building, a triangular beam of green light shot out from the bottom of the object and illuminated the face of a teenage girl watching the object from the window of her friend's house. She screamed at her companion that she felt like she was being "picked up" by a UFO before being dragged away from the window.

The object was observed near 104th street and 44th Avenue in Corona, Queens. It was described as bell-shaped with a flashing green light at the top and swirling colored lights at the bottom edge.

In the center of the lower part of the" bell " was a green triangular fire surrounded by white swirling lights. It was also said that it had triangular Windows that were illuminated with white light around the top of the bell and made a sound signal.

According to eyewitnesses, it flew 40-50 floors above their apartment buildings. According to one witness, it was 2.5 city streets wide.

According to eyewitnesses, the UFO slowly moved to the end of the 108th street block, then returned and hovered over 104-47 44th Avenue, a three-story apartment building.

Then, as the UFO approached 108th street, what witnesses thought was a military aircraft with two bright spotlights approached the UFO. At this point, the UFO disappeared from view.

Witnesses said they knew the plane was not a commercial airliner bound for nearby LaGuardia airport because the usual flight pattern from the airport was in a different direction. It was also reported that the plane's noise was unusually loud, indicating that it was flying below commercial aircraft.

Three members of the colon family and their cousin Lewis Alya, Diana Martinez, were hit by the green beam. and Diana's grandfather waited until Sunday morning to tell his UFO story to Jane Turconi. who delivers News World and Noticias Del Mundo in the area. They did not call the police, fearing that they would be considered "crazy".

Throughout their story, they emphasized how scared they were during the meeting.

Diana Martinez. 14. Was in the house of 13-year-old Oneda colon, when she saw the object from a second-floor window. As she looked out of the window, a green beam shot out of the triangular light in the center of the object and lit up her face.

Then she cried to Oneda.

"Hit me! Slap me! It's taking me! »

He slapped her hard across the face and pulled her away from the light.

Diana said:

"I looked away for two minutes. For me, everything was empty."

Oneda's Mother. Carmen colon, 31, also saw a UFO. She said:

"The girls were screaming. I ran to see what was going on, and I saw it." Diana said. "The UFO was about ten stories above the ground when the green light hit me in the face."

According to her, it was the size of two and a half city streets located nearby.

Jimmy colon, 13, Oneda's brother, said he saw the object while standing at the corner of 104th street and 45th Avenue. "It was at THIS height of a floor above the ground, forming a circular pattern around our area. The UFO was spinning in a circle. It had a * green light that went on and off ." He called the noise " OO-OO-OO-OO." sounds when the light flashes, and goes out when it goes out.

"It happened three times, and then I came home and he disappeared. Before it disappeared, it was still spinning, but in the same place, and then, after it had moved forward a little. it was going up so fast that I couldn't see it. and he disappeared."

He also said that when the object stopped, it hovered over a power line.

Jenny colon (13 years old) she said she saw it after Diana and Oneda. She said the UFO raised an arc of sky about three feet wide (0.9 m).

"I saw a three-foot object with colored lights swirling around the bottom with the green light on and off. It seemed to encircle the area around our block. This was the last one."

She said it lasted about 15 minutes.

Colon's cousin. Lewis Ala. This. he also said that he saw the object.

Other witnesses said they saw several colored lights, heard a plane approaching, and saw searchlights from the plane.

Harry Lebelson, a new York-based researcher with the air phenomena research Organization (APRO), said UFOs with similar characteristics, especially triangular structures, have been spotted in upstate new York in recent months.

AI-Ebelson said APRO is likely investigating the sighting, possibly using a dermatologist to determine if that light beam left traces of radiation on Diana's skin.

Three members of the Colon family and their cousin Lewis Alya, Diana Martinez, who was hit with the green ray. and Diana’s grandfather waited until Sunday morning to tell their story of the UFO to Jayne Turconi. who delivers the News World and Noticias Del Mundo in the area. Diana Martinez. 14. was at the home of Oneda Colon, 13, when she saw the object out the second-floor window. As she was looking with her head out the window, a green ray shot out from the triangular light at the center of the object and shone on her face.

It seemed to circle the area around our block. It went pretty last.” She said it lasted about 15 minutes.

The Colons’ cousin. Lewis Alya. i-t. also said he saw the object.

Other witnesses said they saw some colored lights and heard the jet coming and saw the scachlights from the jet.

Harry Lebelson, New York researcher for the Aerial Phenomena Research Organization (APRO) said that UFOs with similar characteristics, notably the triangular structures, were sighted in upstate New York in recent months.

I-ebelson said APRO would probably investigate the sighting, perhaps using a dermatologist to sec if the reported beam of light left traces of radiation on Diana’s skin.
