I was driving with my uncle and his family from New Mexico back to Dallas. We were driving south on Highway 287. We had just passed a farm somewhere near Clarendon, Texas, which we knew because of the strong smell of cattle feces. We were in my uncle's double truck.
Everyone was falling asleep and leaning on each other, so my cousin and I asked his father if we could lie down in the back of the truck. He agreed, and he stopped so we could get out and create a makeshift bed in the truck's cargo hold.
My cousin and I were lying on our backs, looking up at the sky. We were commenting on the purity of the sky and the many stars, and suddenly on one side of the sky there was a rotating round flying object with small lights on the edges. We watched it move slowly to the southwest.
It was moving too slowly for an airplane. And the sky was clear, almost a full moon, so we could see it so that it couldn't be part of the plane. The lights at the edges were colored at different times. They changed color from red to green, then to blue, then to dark yellow, and then the pattern started over and over again.
My cousin and I both exclaimed for the first time ," Did you see THAT ?!»
We lay and stared at him until we could no longer see him.
It was the very first time I saw a UFO. I have to admit, I was very skeptical about UFOs, aliens, and the like. But this experience has led me to believe that we are not the only species of intelligent life forms here on Earth.
I just wonder why our government has to hide the facts. People like you and me seem to be watching this sort of thing all the time now. I hope my observation will help others decide for themselves whether this phenomenon exists or not. I believe it.

We had just past a ranching depot somewhere around Clarendon, Texas which we knew because of the overpowering stench of cattle feces. We were traveling in my uncle’s dually truck. Everyone was falling asleep and leaning on each other, so my cousin and I asked his dad if we could lie in the truck bed. He agreed and he pulled over so we could get out and create a makeshift bed in the truck’s cargo area. My cousin and I were lying on our backs looking up at the sky. We were commenting on the clearness of the sky and multitudes of stars, and all of a sudden a rotating round flying object with small lights along the edges appeared on one side of the sky. We watched it travel slowly southwestbound. It was moving way to slow for an aircraft. And the sky was clear with a near full moon so we could see it in plainview that it could not be a part of an aircraft. The lights around the edges were colored at different times. They would change from red to green, then to blue, then to dark yellow, then the pattern would begin all over again constantly. My cousin and I both exclaimed at the first time, “Did you see THAT?!” We lied there and stared at it until we couldn’t see it anymore. It was the very first time I had ever seen a UFO. I have to admit, I was a big skeptic about UFOs, aliens, and the like. But that experience has made me believe that we are not the only species of intelligent life forms here on earth.
