A glowing silver object in the shape of a cigar moved very quickly up and down the beach in the Betwells Beach area.
It was seen by several witnesses, and it seemed to dematerialize and reappear several times. Finally, it hovered low over the water 200 meters from the shore.
The dog started barking at the object, and the dog's owner, who felt the static charge coming from the object, got scared.
