A cigar-shaped UFO (brighter than clouds, color blue + red (the color of a cloud at sunset), like an airplane, but without wings and plumage, angular size of about 3'x0. 5', the profile of the front part was rounded and asymmetric, the back part seemed blurred) was seen by two witnesses .
The object was moving northeast, altitude about 40', climb ~ 5'.
At that time, the object was brighter than the sky and slightly fluorescent, the color of the object was blue with red, like the color of clowns at sunset.
The distance to the object was rated as "very high". There was no noise the whole time. After 3-4 seconds, the object suddenly disappeared (one of the witnesses said that the object broke up into dots and disappeared).
The witness claims that the object was not an aircraft due to the strange color, weak fluorescence, huge angular size and speed, strange disappearance and lack of noise. There was no impression of a real solid object, it was more like an image, perhaps semi-transparent.
A possible explanation offered by the witness is a mirage, that night (December 23 - December 24) the air temperature dropped from -1 ° C to -10 ° C (approximately). The sun set. There is no functioning airport in Vitebsk, but O. Kirillov noticed a plane flying over the city at a high altitude a few minutes before the UFO appeared.
The witness was sober , does not use drugs. I interviewed him personally, and his testimony seemed very sincere.

After 3-4 secs the object suddenly vanished (one of the witnesses stated that the object disintegrated into dots and vanished).
