Initial data
On September 11, 2009, at 21: 55 local time, I went out on the balcony of our apartment (second floor). I don't know why they went out on the balcony. I looked at the sky. It was night. There were stars in the sky, there was no moon.
Suddenly I noticed three bright orange dots that were flying rapidly across the sky, one strict above the other. Then there was a third. They formed a huge triangle and continued to float across the sky from northeast to southwest at an acute angle back, base forward.
Immediately, as if catching up with them, the fourth flew away. The lights were similar in brilliance and brightness to the bright stars in the sky, but brighter and of a rich orange color. The brightness pulsed, from a red dark dot to a white star with an orange aura. When the fires turned red, they shrank in size. They did not change the distances between them during the entire flight over our house within sight. Their speed! exceeded the speed of the aircraft. They flew very high, it felt much higher than passenger planes.
The "triangle" formed by them was very large, about 30 meters in length. The object did not make any sounds. Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to shoot this object with a video camera, but I found a video with a similar object in Youtub. The object did not make any sounds.

These objects were seen by me, my mother and other residents of Kiev. I wrote about my observations on the website of Ukrainian ufologists with a request, if there are still witnesses, to write. Two people answered. Here are their messages.
1. An Observer lives next to me, the objects were seen in the same evening and in the same time range. "Objects of red-orange color were observed, the glow seems to be constant, without flickering, it is difficult to determine the height. I think in the interval between 1000 - 3000 meters I moved slowly. The direction of movement is from the northeast to the southwest. 2. "Similar" balls " were first observed over Troyeshchyna (Kiev district), in May 2009. Two blood-red balls, in the center of which a yellowish spot seems to glow (like a candle flame from a light breeze, fades and flickers and ignites again) flew from east to west."

The Observer lives near to me, objects saw in the same evening and in the same time range. «It was observed 8 шароподобных objects of red-orange colour, the luminescence was like as to constants, without a blinking, height to define difficult.но I think in an interval between 1000 – 3000 metres, moved slowly. It was observed except me by mum and the daddy».
2. “Similar” balls “for the first time observed over Troeshchinoj (area of Kiev), in May, 2009. Two blood-red balls in which centre the yellowish stain (as a flame of a candle from an easy breeze as though will die away flickered again will inflame) have flown by from the east on the West».

Based on the description of the eyewitness, the objects are really similar to those captured on the video he found - these are sky lanterns.
