Initial data
We were driving when through the windshield I saw four bright orange pointed lights flying right in front of me. We stopped because of the nature of these lights. They were tightly packed together and did not make a sound. One of the lights completely disappeared.
One of the lights went out quickly, and then stopped completely, as if waiting for the other lights to catch up, when all three lights came together again. They disappeared as if someone had flipped a switch. There was no flash, no haze, no smoke, nothing was burning, they just all disappeared into the night sky.
It was a very clear night. If it were four helicopters or a plane for one, they would not be so close to each other. The lights were exaggerated star-shaped shapes with pronounced pointed edges.
The lights did not leave any traces behind them. This happened in a small village in the center of the countryside, where air traffic and other explicable phenomena are rare.
