May sixth , 1949 Apraksin took off on a new plane for a test flight. Having gained an altitude of more than 10,000 m, the pilot suddenly noticed an object similar to the one he had already seen last year. Apraksin directed the plane to approach him. And again, at a distance of about 10 km, a sheaf of rays fell on the plane, blinding came, again, the entire electrical part of the aircraft failed.

May 6, 1949, Volsk district. Pilot Apraksin met with a UFO similar to the one he observed in June 1948. 

When trying to approach a cigar-shaped object flying at an altitude of about 11 kilometers, sent a bright beam at the plane. The pilot was temporarily blinded. The aircraft's electrical equipment failed, communication was lost, the plexiglass glass was damaged, as a result of which the cabin sealing was broken.

Apraksin barely made an emergency landing on the shoals of the Volga, 40 kilometers north of Saratov, and lost consciousness. 7 days before this event, the newest La-15 jet fighter was first flown into the air at the Saratov aircraft factory. In addition, in 1948-1949, rockets assembled according to V-2 drawings were launched from the Kapustin Yar and Krasny Kut missile ranges.
