Here is an email I received a few days after the event:
"On Tuesday night I went to Cranky Joe's with some buddies... we were in the courtyard when my friend pointed out two light lanterns following each other in turn. Flying in the sky, they looked like satellites, a little bigger, but why were the two following each other at the same speed.
No planes, no jets, too far outside the atmosphere. Based on our estimates, about 2 inches, maybe less from our point of view, but would definitely make a space about 100 meters or so from where they were.
Other people in the courtyard saw it too and thought ... wow, you don't see this every day. I joked to my friend and said:
"I'd better call my former colleague, a UFO researcher."
Just like a satellite ... but it was just strange how fast they were moving, about one and a half times faster than the satellite, and moving exactly the same way; a little less than twice as much
On Tuesday evening I finished work around 11 pm, and when I came to the terrace, it was about 12 or 12:30.
From the Cambrian Heights area to the new Sudbury-Kingsway area, but obviously it was possible to walk many miles just by moving in this general direction.
It was a lamppost when it crossed the common area where the bingo hall is located, and then we just lost it, looking up, and the light did not allow us to see the sky."

Location: Sudbury, Ontario.
Here's an e-mail I received a few days after this event:
"Tuesday night, I went to Cranky Joe's with some buddies.... we were on the patio when my friend points out two stange lights following each other in sequence. Looking in the sky, they looked just like satelites, slightly bigger, but why two following each other at the exact same pace. Not planes and not jets, too far past the atmosphere. From us judging it, about 2 inches maybe less apart from our point of view, but defenitely would make the space to be about 100 meters or so apart from where they were.
Other people on the patio were seeing it too and were like...wow you don't see that everyday. I joked to my friend and said "I better call my ex co-worker, the ufo investigator."
Exactly like a satellite....but it was just weird how fast they were moving, about 1 and a half times the speed of a satelite, and going in the exact same path; a little less than double the size
Tuesday night, I finished work around 11 pm and when I got there and on the patio, it was around 12 or 12:30 pm.
From cambrian heights area towards new sudbury-kingsway area, but obviously could have been miles away just going in that general direction.
There was a lamp post when it got over the general area where the bingo hall is and then we just lost it, looking up and the light blocked us from seeing the sky."
