On Friday, March 7, when the author of the original material was at work, he received a call from a resident of New York State, who reported that back in November 2011 he saw a bright round object over Lake Ontario. He called him back on March 8, and they talked for about an hour. On Monday, March 10, he received by e-mail the following details of this observation:
"On Saturday, November 26, 2011. When I woke up around 4:45 in the morning, I decided to go outside and check everything that could be happening in the sky. I was looking directly north over the shoreline of Lake Ontario in New York State, about 30 miles west of Rochester, New York.
At 5:15 a.m., a white painted circle appeared directly to the north over the lake, at an angle of 45 degrees, through a very light cloud cover. Quite a large size, almost half the size of the full moon, it did not move in the sky at all, without noise and flashing lights. It was displayed for 5 seconds or so, then the light went out.
It reappeared to the right (east) of its last image, a distance twice its diameter, the same size, at the same distance from the water, still remained stationary. This time I shone a light with a power of 1 million candles on him, but he did not respond. The light reappeared and disappeared 2 more times. Every time he showed himself, he moved east by the same distance as the last show. After the fourth show, he disappeared.
I kept looking at the sky in the same area both east and west only for it to appear again, further east, about half a mile after about 5 minutes (5:20 am). This time there was only one image of this white filled circle. The shape still remained in the shape of a circle, given the distance along the coastline at which it appeared. The position above the water was the same, and still remained stationary in the sky until it disappeared.It was a timer display, turned on 4 times, turned off 4 times, each time it moved the same distance to the east.
I kept watching the sky until it happened again, at 5:30 in the morning, where it was originally. Again, same size, same display time and position above water, no noise or flashing lights, just one display and no more.

On Friday, March 7, while I was at work, I received a phone call from a New York State resident who reported that he had had a sighting of a bright round object over Lake Ontario, back in November 2011. I returned his call on Saturday, March 8, and we spoke for an hour or so. On Monday, March 10, I received the following details of the sighting in an e-mail:

The position over the water was the same, and still remained stationary in the sky until it disappeared. It was a timed display, 4 times on, 4 times off, each time it moved the same distance to the east.
I continued to watch the sky until it happen again, 5:30 am, back where it originally showed itself. Again same size, same display time and position over the water, no noise or flashing lights but only one display and no more.
I continued watching for over an hour or so until the skies started to show the beginnings of the sunrise."
