Initial data
On Monday, August 10, the author of the original material received an email fdollow from a resident of Saint-Charles, who reported that together with her friend and her daughter, they saw an object in the shape of a delta with red lights:
"Hello on this rainy morning!
A friend and her daughter are with me at our cottage in Musky Bay (St. Charles). Last night we spent several hours in our gazebo, sat and went to visit (had a few drinks). At about 00:00, my daughter and I entered the house, and my friend went and sat on the deck alone, and then quickly called us to come out on our deck facing south. She pointed to a very tall, fast-moving object in the bright starry sky.
It was silent, had the shape of a delta, and there were a lot of red lanterns around it. I can' It was accurate to say that the lights were moving in a zigzag pattern, but it definitely seemed that they were not moving in a straight line. It was at about 100° to the horizon in the southwest sky.
After a few seconds, he moved northeast and was hidden behind the trees in our backyard. The distance he covered in a few seconds was huge. I don't believe it was the plane we saw initially, but shortly after that we actually saw an airplane in the southern sky that behaves as you would expect from an airplane flying in a straight line.
We could hear the slight humming sound of the plane. I can't even guess what we saw last night, but it seemed unusual to me. I have not yet spoken to my friend and daughter about what we witnessed last night, this morning, because they are still in bed. I wanted to convey this to you before my memories are damaged and clouded by anyone's perception."

On Monday August 10, I received the fdollowing e-mail from a resident of St-Charles who reported that, along with a friend of hers and her daughter, they saw a delta-shaped object with red lights:
"Greetings this rainy morning!
A friend and her daughter are at our cottage in Musky Bay (St Charles) with me. Last night, we spent a few hours in our gazebo, sitting and visiting (a few beverages were consumed). At around 00:00, the daughter and I came indoors and my friend went and sat on the deck alone then quickly called us to come out to our deck which is south facing. She motioned to a very high rapidly moving object in the brightly starlit sky. It was silent, delta-shaped and had numerous red lights around it. I can't exactly say that the lights moved in a zig-zag motion but it definitely seemed to not be moving in a straight line. It was at approx. 100° to the horizon in the south-west sky. Within very few seconds, it proceeded in the north-east and was concealed behind the trees in our backyard. The distance it covered in a very few seconds was vast. I do not believe it was an aircraft that we originally saw but shortly afterward, we did see an airplane in the southern sky behaving in the way you'd expect an aircraft to behave, flying in a straight linear line. We could hear the slight droning sound of an airplane. I cannot even guess at what we saw last night, but it did not seem ordinary to me. I haven't yet spoken to my friend and daughter about what we witnessed last night yet this morning because they're still in bed. I wanted to get this note off to you while my memories are intact and not clouded by anyone else's perception."
