Initial data
I like to look out of the window at the sky before going to bed. It's dark and quiet. There are few stars in the sky: the city is not the North. Until recently, the handsome Orion shone, and now he is already at the very horizon.
It was the same that night. Before going to bed, I went to the window and pulled back the curtain. The windows of high-rise buildings were quietly extinguished, and a cloud stretched over the horizon in the dark and low-star sky.
But what is it? A garland of white circles the size of the moon moved across it, as if on a gray screen. There were up to five of them on a narrow cloud and they were moving downwards, diagonally. It was as if a column of cars with the high beam turned on, and their headlights drew creeping white spots on the snow-covered slope.
Of course, there were no cars with their searchlights and it wasn't the Northern Lights that I had seen many times. And the endless garland of white circles continued to move slowly, shifting to the edge of the cloud on the move and fading, but after a while the moving circles reappeared.
It was also surprising that they, though faintly, were visible in the sky before entering the cloud. If it was like a screen, then the air is certainly not him.
The ellipse of the proposed orbit periodically narrowed, but then recovered, I noticed - after 15 seconds.
And in general, it began to resemble the rotation of a giant bundle: there is the movement of circles, and compression-expansion of the orbit, and strict periodicity.
Come on... if you say it, people will laugh. Then what? But everything fits together. The plate slowly rotates, swaying, and its spotlights on the edges pierce the cloud.
I would like to take a picture, but while you're getting dressed, you open the balcony doors, set up the camera on a tripod... And the cloud was slowly disappearing behind the school.
Recently I saw a beautiful sight. The full moon was shining, there was a halo —circle around it, and two stars in it. But I didn't have time to take it off: it almost dissolved.
And I saw a "UFO" on March 28 this year at 10.30 pm in the middle of the southern part of the sky.
