The mystical fog. Tajikistan

In the spring of 1980, a helicopter carrying S. Alekseenko and the pilot made an emergency landing late in the evening on one of the ledges of the Pamirs, 100 or 300 meters in size. There were mountains on three sides, and there was a chasm below. We went to sleep right on the ground, covered with a tarpaulin. When it got dark, a luminous cloud floated out of the gorge to them, curled up nearby in a ball. Alekseenko turned to face him, and when he was already falling asleep, he saw that a "hand" was reaching out from him to them. Instantly pulling out a flashlight, he illuminated the ground: indeed, a light cloudy gut-hand was stretching. He cut it with the light of a flashlight, and it slowly began to retract back.

Alekseyenko fell asleep and began to feel that he was freezing, but then for some reason it became warm, and he warmed up and fell asleep soundly. In the morning I saw that the cloud had increased in volume and occupied the entire cornice, even the helicopter was not visible 10 meters away. When the sun appeared, the cloud shrank to its previous size, jumped several times and smoothly rose up. The pilot waved to him and shouted:

"Thank you, my friend, for keeping us warm at night!"

The cloud suddenly turned into a long boat glowing in the sun and quickly sailed away.
