Initial data
July 11 and 12 , 2009 . : evening / night observations.
Locations: Blind River and Duborn Lake, respectively.
After hearing about the many UFO sightings in Wiki, Elliot Lake and Blind River, I decided to spend the weekend at my friend's house in the Indian Reserve on the Mississauga River, east of Blind River. When I saw a UFO there in 1997, I certainly wasn't surprised to see more on these two different evenings.
I spent the first night watching the sky near the Northern Canal until 4 o'clock in the morning. I was in the company of my friend Joan, her sister Marge, an OPP officer, her husband, and Matthew Fish, a documentary filmmaker. It was about 23:06 when we stood there and watched as the first object appeared from the west, not far from the Big Dipper, and headed east. It was a bright white color, and according to my estimates, its height was from 6,000 to 15,000 feet. There is no sound and no flashing lights.
Later, at about 1:45 a.m., the second object appeared from the same direction as the first one and moved along the same trajectory. Matthew managed to capture it on a digital videotape.
The second night we spent at Duborn Lake, north of Blind River, after visiting the lake in the afternoon, and we stayed up watching the sky until 3 a.m. At about 23:30, an orange-red object appeared from behind a rocky massif. an outcrop to our left, moving from west to northeast. As it moved across the sky, its color changed to a light orange-yellow, but it was still bright, and remained so until it disappeared behind the tree line on the other side of the lake. Again, I would say its height was between 6,000 and 15,000 feet... maybe 20,000. And again, no sound, no flashing lights.
Then, at about 1:15 a.m., a second object appeared from the west, which looked like something with a bright light in front. At first, when I saw it, it was like a bright light. But then, when he was halfway over the lake, I noticed that half of the object was dark, and the front part was emitting light from the front, away from our eyes. It was strange, because when this thing was moving away, there was no light shining from behind. There is no sound and no flashing lights. Both nights I watched objects with binoculars.

July 11 & 12, 2009: Evening/night sightings. Locations: Blind River and Lake Duborne, respectively. After hearing about a lot of UFO sightings in Wiki, Elliot Lake and Blind River, I decided to go spend the weekend at my friend's place on the Mississagi River Indian Reserve, east of Blind River. Having seen UFOs there in 1997, I certainly was not surprised to see more, on those two separate evenings.
The first night was spent skywatching near the North Channel until 4 a.m. I was in the company of my friend Joan, her sister Marge, an OPP officer and her husband, along with Matthew Fish, documentary filmmaker. It was about 11:06 p.m. when we stood there and watched as the first object appeared from the west, near The Big Dipper, and headed east. Then later, at around 1:45 a.m., a second object appeared from the same direction as the first, and moved along the same trajectory. Matthew managed to get this one on digital video tape.
The second night was spent at Lake Duborne, north of Blind River, after having visited the lake in the daytime, and we stayed up, skywatching, until 3 a.m. At around 11:30 p.m., an orangy-red object appeared from behind a rocky outcrop to our left, moving from west to northeast. As it moved across the sky, its color changed to a light orangy-yellow, but still bright, and remained so until it disappeared behind the treeline on the other side of the lake. Again, I would say that its height was between 6,000 and 15,000 feet...maybe 20,000. And again, no sound or flashing lights of any kind.
Then, at around 1:15 a.m., a second object appeared from the west, and looked like something with a bright light at the front. At first, when I saw it, it looked like a brilliant light. But then, as it got half way over the lake, I noticed that half the object was dark, and the front portion was projecting light at the front, away from our eyes. It was weird because no light shone from the back as this thing moved away. No sound and no flashing lights. On both nights, I was using binoculars to observe the objects.
