Back in 2004, the now retired commander of the US Navy, David Fravor, met something unusual 130 km off the coast of San Diego. He made a raid in his deck fighter "Super Hornet" F/A-18F Super Hornet and claims that he saw an unidentified oval-shaped flying object from the cockpit, about 12 meters in length. In 2017, he told about it in an interview with the New York Times.
It would seem that this is such a big deal? The network is full of rumors about military encounters with UFOs, and another story, not supported by evidence, should not have aroused much interest. However, this old story has resurfaced, and all thanks to one very interesting circumstance. The fact is that representatives of the US Navy confirmed that the video taken from the cockpit is not fake.
In an interview with comedian and podcaster Joe Rogan, Fravor told a new story he heard from a Navy helicopter pilot. In the 90s, this pilot's job was to extract drones and underwater telemetry torpedoes from the ocean. The pilot at the time was flying around in a CH-53 aircraft, "a heavy truck that the Marine Corps uses for special operations," as Fravor himself explained.
The operation proceeds as follows: a diver is dropped from the aircraft, he picks up the drone and returns with it on board. Only this time, a "mysterious dark body" rose out of the water to meet them, which then simply returned to the depth as soon as the cargo was removed from the water.
A few months later, a helicopter pilot saw the same thing. He insisted that it was not a submarine:
"Having seen the silhouette of a submarine once, you will not confuse it with anything else. The same object was round in shape, not at all like a boat."
The diver, who was urgently brought on board, assures that the dark something literally sucked the torpedo into itself, after which it went into the depths of the ocean.
