Chupacabra in Kemerovo. A mysterious creature, a goat vampire, is ruining chicken coops in the Metal Site of the Kemerovo district. Local residents find the bodies of domestic birds drained of blood.

The attacks on chickens began on August 24. On this day, pensioner Evgenia Loboiko found 16 dead broiler chickens in the greenhouse. The carcasses were drained of blood.

A few days later, other residents of the village reported a similar case. In the chicken coop of the Artemyev family, someone drank the blood of 50 birds.

Reportedly, before getting enough, the mysterious creature bites through the chickens' spine. The distance between his canines, judging by the damage on the carcasses, is 4 cm, the diameter of the bite is 3 mm.

The villagers themselves believe that they were visited by a chupacabra - a well-known cryptid creature. According to reports from different parts of the world, it attacks domestic animals and feeds on their blood.

Local hunters, meanwhile, believe that chickens are most likely killed by an ordinary ferret or weasel.

But the Moscow expert interviewed by the publication, Vadim Chernobrov, the head of the Kosmopoisk association, is not yet ready to give an exact answer on the cases in the Kemerovo region, but took them "for study."

– Out of hundreds of cases of reports of chupacabra, two-thirds are explained by attacks of ordinary predators (often sick, rabid). But a third of the cases are when traces, behavior, and everything else are unclear… These cases mainly occur in western Russia, Ukraine, southern Poland and Belarus. The attacks on animals began in 2008, but gradually began to spread further and further east. And until 2012, I was sure: there is no Chupacabra east of the Ob and Novosibirsk and it is not expected. But if, three years later, similar cases have already reached the Kemerovo region, then this means that the Ob has not become an obstacle. And we will have to warn Krasnoyarsk about the imminent "guest", - said Vadim Chernobrov.
