An eyewitness caught a glowing object during a thunderstorm in North Carolina this week. The object moves slowly, but has a steady glow.

An eyewitness claims:

Around 5:20 I saw a red-orange dot above the tree. I thought it might be a plane. But the landing scheme and the location of the lights seemed strange.

Took my dog for a walk. The light didn't move. Was taller than a tree. I constantly saw lightning behind the clouds. The red light appeared in front of the clouds.

I also shot a short video when it started to be deleted. Then he slowly went behind the clouds. And soon it began to rain.

Kept seeing lightning behind the clouds. The red light appeared to be in front of clouds. I also captured a short video when it started moving away. Then slowly went behind the clouds. And it started raining shortly after.
