While transporting a mysterious woman who recently asked to be dropped off at the cemetery, the driver was faced with a terrible situation.
The driver, 37-year-old Ahsan Ismail, said he received an order to pick up a passenger near the Samarakhan Cardiology Center roundabout here around midnight, with a destination at a Muslim cemetery waiting.
He said he was wary at first when he saw the destination, but shrugged it off because he decided that the passenger had simply chosen the nearest landmark.
"When I got to (the landing site), I saw a woman in dark baju kurung and tudung waiting there. It was a dark place and I didn't look at her (face) so she wouldn't feel uncomfortable.
But later I heard her quiet voice asking me to lower the window next to her seat," the father of three told Harian Metro.
He also did not communicate with her throughout the journey and focused on driving.
Ahsan said that there was a strong smell in the car, which, in his opinion, came from the passenger, but did not attach any importance to this.
When he reached the cemetery about 11 km away, he told his passenger that they had arrived without turning around to look at her.
When she didn't answer, he turned around and, to his surprise, saw no one.
"I thought she was asleep, but when I turned around, no one was there. However, there were several old banknotes in denominations of 1 and 2 ringgit and several five-cent coins, which were enough for 13 ringgit. I left quickly and immediately made a video call to my friend to tell him the story. I came home around one o'clock in the morning, but I told my wife about it only the next day," he said.
Ahsan shared his experience with the ghost on Facebook, but netizens quickly dismissed the incident, calling it illogical for a "ghost" to book a trip.
"Not everyone has the opportunity to experience such a mystical situation, and I do not reject supernatural actions. Some people have sent messages offering thousands of ringgit to buy cash, but I don't plan to sell them anytime soon," Ahsan said.

He said he had initially been wary when he saw the location of the destination, but dismissed it as the passenger just having picked the nearest landmark.
“When I reached (the pick-up area), I saw a woman in dark-coloured baju kurung and tudung waiting there. It was a dark area and I did not look at her (face) to avoid her feeling uncomfortable.
“But later I heard her soft voice requesting to lower the window near her seat,” the father of three told Harian Metro.
