Initial data
On Sunday, October 14, 2007, around lunchtime, Valean Flaviu, geography teacher of the group of industrial schools "Chorea" in Deva (35 years old, married, has one child), together with partners from the ecological association "Abeona" (Cornel Alexandru, Raluca Iovescu and Alin Iovescu) were in the nature reserve Magura Uroiului near Simeria.
It was a perfectly clear day, Cornel Alexandru was photographing a pair of peregrine falcons. The next day, when the photos were uploaded, two spheres appeared on the cliche, one white and one black, which no one noticed with the naked eye. Just 1-2 seconds before, a soaring falcon was photographed; the following photo was taken in a clear sky when the falcon suddenly "ran away" to the left; the third photo caught the falcon again.
The sun was at that moment somewhere behind-to the left. At first, the witnesses thought that the black sphere was a light shadow, but there was nothing to project the shadow on.
Unfortunately, no other landmarks are visible in the picture, and the resolution of the photo was 714K, although the camera had a maximum capacity of 12 MP.
If bright balls are often reported and photographed, then black ones are rarely.
A famous case is the case of April 14, 1561 from Nuremberg, when black, red and blue spheres, as well as disks, were reported; another case occurred on August 7, 1566 in Basel, when several black and red spheres were noticed.
Original news
Soarele se afla in acel moment undeva in spate-stanga.
