At night, a light spot above the clouds, which follows a fixed pattern for at least 1 hour, was noticed by a resident of Weinandsreid.
He's writing:
I needed to talk on the phone alone, being away from home, so I went out the door and drove to a fairly remote (country) road where there was not a single house.
Suddenly I noticed a glowing ball in the sky above the clouds, flying according to the scheme at a fairly constant speed without sound. A little later, I heard a helicopter flying very close, which I find strange at the time. I only heard the helicopter approach and then go even further away.
The pattern of the light was the same, and it couldn't be a flashlight or something easily explicable. There is also no visible beam of light from the ground.I have 2 videos but nothing is visible on them.
The sphere moved in a fixed pattern, somewhat similar to a boomerang, the tip of which, say, you would turn it into an arrow, pointed exactly to the west.
I understand that the pattern or sphere that I can still see is also moving westward.
I googled, but couldn't find an explanation for it here on Google.

Snachts licht vlek boven de wolken die een vast patroon volgt nu al zeker 1 uur
WIJNANDSRADE, LB — Moest even afgelegen een prive gesprek voeren op de telefoon dus ben de deur uit gegaan en een redelijk afgelegen (land)weg opgereden waar geen maar 1 huis in de verte ergens staat.
Toen me opeens een lichtbol achtig in de lucht boven de wolken opviel dat rondvloog in een partroon met een redelijk constante snelheid zonder geluid. Niet veel later hoorde ik een helicopter redelijk dichtbij vliegen wat ik rond die tijdstip raar vind. De helicopter hoorde ik enkel even dichtbij komen en daarna verderweg gaan.
Het patroon van het licht was hetzelfde en kon geen zaklamp of iets makkelijk verklaarbaars zijn. Ook geen lichtstraal te zien vanaf de grond
Ik heb 2 video's maar daarop zie je helemaal niks.
De bol bewoog in een vast patroon beetje vergelijkbaar met dat van een boomerang waarvan de punt stel je zou er een pijl van maken naar exact het westen toewees.
Het patroon of de bol ik kan hem besef ik me nu nogsteeds zien verplaatst zich ook richting het westen.
Ik heb gegoogled maar kon ook hier op google geen verklaring ervoor vinden.

Searchlights can shine with one beam, several. They can be stationary, move, and also form spinning carousels on the clouds, which can change shape and color.
It often seems that the light source is located at the point where the beam hits the cloud, and not vice versa.
