A spherical body was moving across the sky from west to east parallel to the earth. The ball shone like the moon, but brighter. The glow of the ball was blue-white. The trail strongly illuminated the sky. as the ball moved, the trail "swelled" - it became larger.

then the ball emitted smoky circles (2-3 circles), decreased sharply, flew a little more and disappeared.

After the ball disappeared, the trace remained in the sky for about a minute. After the trail disappeared, there seemed to be a crack in the sky.

The weather was calm that day.  there were heterogeneous clouds in the sky (it helped to see the ball). In the morning of this day it snowed, then it rained. There was a gusty wind just before the balloon appeared. Then there was no wind.

We observed the same phenomenon on September 17, 1978 at 18-07. Everything was happening just like the first time.

Weather on October 17: in the morning there was a strong wind, the temperature was -8 degrees. It was a clear day. The sunset was red and green in color. By evening, the wind had subsided, the temperature was -3 degrees. The sky was clear in the evening. Other people have also observed this phenomenon.
