In 1915, an "unknown projectile" landed in Galicia, in the area of operations of General Ivanov's army.
The investigation found that the "projectile" had a diameter of about 4 fathoms (853.4 cm), tin color, fire emanated from it.
After staying on the ground for about half an hour, the "projectile" rose and flew away, leaving nothing but scorched and melted earth at the landing site.

Investigation
for reference:
The Battle of Galicia (German Schlacht in Galizien) — one of the largest battles World War I (August-September 1914), as a result of which Russian troops occupied almost all of eastern Galicia, almost all of Bukovina was besieged Przemysl. The operation involved the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 8th, 9th armies of the Russian Southwestern Front (Commander-in—chief - General N. I. Ivanov) and four Austro-Hungarian armies (Archduke Friedrich, Field Marshal Gotzendorf), as well as the German General's group Remus von Voirsch.
Galicia (also Galicia, Ukrainian Galicia, gender. Galicja, German. Galizien) is a historical area in Eastern Europe, roughly corresponds to the territory of modern Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Ternopil (except the northern part) regions Ukraine, South Subcarpathian and Lesser Poland voivodeships of Poland.
It is necessary to find out where the army was in 1915 for more accurate positioning.
