A group of mischievous escaped alpacas deceived the inhabitants of Loch Ness

Alpacas swimming in Loch Ness made viewers think they were the real thing Nessie . The herd managed to escape from the owners several times as they desperately tried to find them.

Some were on an organized hike with paid animal lovers, while others found a way to join them on the journey.

Viewers on social networks were left in shock. Lo Mac wrote:

"You'll see Nessie on the other side of the lake."

Ryan McKenzie added:

"The closest animal to Nessie."
